Board Member
Marc K. Schwartz is the Stewardship Chair of Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation Illinois, a chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International
(JDRFI). He has been involved in JDRF-related activities since 2007. He has been an
active member of Team J-Slo, a team that walks annually in the Ron Santo Walk to Cure
Diabetes, and serves on the Major Donor Committee, Stewardship Committee and the
Libertyville Walk site committee.
Schwartz is an attorney licensed to practice law in the States of Illinois and
Wisconsin. He is managing partner of Schwartz Wolf & Bernstein LLP, a general practice
law firm located in suburban Chicago. He has significant expertise in the area of family
and matrimonial law and his firm provides legal services in many areas of the law. In
addition to his activities with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Schwartz has
served as president of Congregation Beth Shalom, Northbrook, Illinois, remains active with
the Jewish United Fund and is involved in numerous other philanthropic pursuits.
Schwartz received his Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School in
Chicago, Illinois. He resides in Northbrook, Illinois.
