On Friday, May 13th, local families gathered to enjoy the Kane County Cougars vs. Peoria Chiefs baseball game at Elfstrom Stadium in Geneva, IL. Approximately 80 children with type 1 and their families attended the event, and had the opportunity to meet and mingle with one another. In addition to watching the game, the kids were able to see a post-game fireworks show and run the bases.
