Networking Get-Togethers: Southern Suburbs/Northwest Indiana

Southside of Chicago and Northwest Indiana
We are facilitating a support group in the Munster, Indiana area and on the Southside of Chicago. If you are interested in meeting with other parents of children with type 1 or other adults with type 1, please email Christine Bissler with your contact information and what sort of group you are looking for.

Kankakee Area:
Are you interested in meeting other parents of children with type 1? A new group is being formed in the Kankakee area of Illinois. The group’s meeting location and schedule will be determined in the future. If you are interested, please email t1dkids@att.net with your contact information.

Our first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7th at 6:30 PM at the Hampton Inn, Bradley, IL. T1D children, their parents and siblings are invited to attend. This initial contact will be a "meet and greet" only where we can share our stories and get to know one another. We will also take the time to discuss what everyone's hopes and expectations are in regards to this support group.
